President Akufo-Addo - I’m determined to push through my developmental agenda

President Akufo-Addo says his not entirely set in stone to utilize all suitable means to push through its advancement plan for the country regardless of any resistance to it.


Tending to the bosses and seniors of the Dodge Conventional Region when they paid kindness to approach him today 1 February 2022, at the Celebration House, President Akufo-Addo expressed inspiration of the difficulty he is looking in Parliament over the presentation of the electronic duty (E-Duty), the government will keep on persisting to track down the necessary resources to resolve relevant issues influencing the state.


In an explanation, the President said, "Government, to move the nation along (because of the Coronavirus pandemic), needed to cause extra consumption like the free water, the free power, and the arrangement of free food.

"These were inescapable costs that the public authority needed to make. The financial effect was truly impressive and these are the endeavors we are presently making, which is being opposed by the resistance, to attempt to close the prattle," President Akufo-Addo said.


President Akufo-Addo hinted that as a country, it has become important to "search inside for our maintainability" and not rely upon help.


"We in Ghana won't be able to proceed perpetually to be reliant upon unfamiliar awards and unfamiliar credits to make all the difference for our economy. At the end of the day, we would need to track down the cash for our turn of events," Akufo-Addo said.


"That is the motivation behind why it has become important for us to present these actions like this renowned duty [E-Levy] which has caused such a lot of pointless, in my view, controversy," the President added.


President Akufo-Addo noticed that in spite of the difficulties, his organization will keep battling for the country's advancement.

Togue Dey III, Head of Doze Conventional Region, drove the appointment for the visit. He made numerous solicitations remembering the structure of a business opportunity for the Doze Conventional Region, and the development of the Doze water framework, among others.
